By the time Michael Pollock took over management in the early 80s, Colonial House was in terrible

shape.

Gangs and prostitutes had occupied the complex while basic amenities such as air conditioning,

Pollock took over management and the gangs moved out.

Pollock's crew got it and rebuilt each of the 1800 units in just three months.

But after all that hard work, Pollock had an even bigger task ahead.

He had to get people to move in.

There were co-ets, dancing, and swimming, and playing pool, and there was one couple

just randomly making out.

It looked like the open to a skin-a-max after-hours movie.
