time. It's our executive producer, Bill Zimmerman. Bill, you're a Chicago guy. You've lived

through the Tibbs era as a Bulls fan. I know a lot of Bulls fan, Chicago people saying, hey,

like, this is kind of what it is with the Tom Thibbido experience. You get to a point to where, all right,

we've maxed out. We got to move on. It appears that's what the next one to do today.

Yeah, look, I think it's the right move for the New York Knicks. I like Thibodeau as a coach.

I just there are just limitations there. And he doesn't change his ways. He goes, you know, hard. It goes all to the wall for 82 games.

And, you know, he has a hard time with getting those teams over the top. We saw the same thing

with the Bulls. You know, a lot of people think that maybe Derek Rose broke down because of how

hard they played. I don't know. I'm not going to blame Tibido for that. But the bottom line is

is the teams overachieve in the regular season, which makes them underachieve in the postseason.

Yeah. I mean, it's a tough situation there. And like, like you can blame Tibbs for not

developing the New York Knicks bench, especially when you look at the playoffs and how that

broke in that particular Eastern Conference finals against Indiana. It's where it's like, oh, like, why don't we have a bench guy? Well,

I mean, he doesn't play the bench in the regular season. That's why you have anybody on the bench,

which is a problem. And like, yeah, that's my thing with this. That's going to be what kind of prevents them from winning an NBA title. But Tibbs was not a part of the solution. And if you're not a part of the solution, sometimes you got to go. And I'm assuming this summer, they'll try to figure out how to build around Jalen Brunson and Carl Anthony Towns. Because if they don't, then you can put Michael Malone, like whoever, like Jay Wright. I know that that's name has been flown around there with all the

nova guys that are out there i don't think it's going to matter because the coach only matters but

so much in the NBA you still need the players and their players have glaring deficiencies in
