Now, let's see this in the message together.

The scripture says this in Acts chapter 2, starting in verse 1.

This is a very familiar passage of scripture.

If you are a Christian or have been coming to church for a while.

And while it might be familiar, I'm praying today that you might see it with some unfamiliar eyes.

Acts 2, verse 1, when the day of Pentecost came,

they were all together in one place.

Suddenly.

Someone say suddenly, but say it like a Pentecostal, suddenly. Something like what does that mean? It don't matter. You'll find out in a moment.

Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that

separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the

Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

I don't know about you, but I read about this day and I get excited about today. I read about this day and get excited about today.
