So it's been three years since the passing of Toby Mack's son, Truett.

This song, 21 years, was kind of his tribute to his son.

And it's been three years since the last time I had Toby on with us.

And he recently came by and I wanted to explain that I purposely stayed out of his world

because I could not imagine living through that kind of a loss.

And in those moments, you need the people that are closest to you around you, lifting

you up not a bunch of French work friends.

So it was out of respect that I hadn't had him in.

And it seemed like enough time had passed and he's got this new album out called Life

After Death, where he kind of is processing this.

And I wanted to check in with him and see how he was doing today, but also how his wife

Amanda was doing as well.
