But the situation that we have right now heading into UFC 174 thankfully Brennan Tobin

is going to join us now host of tapped out on betql 5 to 7 p.m. Eastern on Saturdays

So Charles Olivera did not make weight.

He was half a pound away from making weight Brendan and now it's thrown everything out

of whack.

Explain exactly what happened and what this means now with him not making weight by half

a pound.

Yeah, it's it's a strange thing because in the UFC if it's a non-title fight you actually

get a pound grace.

And most of these weight divisions are on the five like 155, 145, 135, but if you're

in a normal fight you can weigh up to 136 pounds.

So but the only time is a difference in that is when it is a championship fight you have

to be on the nose.

And so Charles Olivera for there's been some controversy around uncalibrated or incorrectly

calibrated scale that had some of the fighters off by a pound some of it off by a half pound

and apparently he thought that he was on point with weight.
