It can become so much an intellectual thing, a reason thing, which is great and which is good because there is reason and truth to what we believe, but we can't lose sight of that relationalness, that compassionate, tender, sweet place with him.

We've had like the most stacked lineup recently where we have just been diving into truth, talking about the real things and I'm so excited for my guest this week.

Not just because she has an amazing book coming out, yeah, get the book and everything like that, but I'm really excited for us to actually dive into the topic of giving your whole heart to God, being spiritually alive, what that looks like to not hold back from embracing all that God is, whether you are a believer or not, maybe you have those hard questions of what actually looks like to walk with the Lord.

We're going to talk about all that and more with my amazing guest Catherine Max, so Catherine, how about you just let everybody know a little bit about who you are, what you do, what it is that you're passionate about all the things.

Thanks, Kirby. I'm so excited to be on. I love what you're doing with your podcast. First of all, love how you're just committed to getting people excited about not only the word.

Currently and in your series on Galatians, but also just wanting people to experience fullness of life with God, that's what's been on my heart and I feel this energy with where you're going to.

So thanks for having us on.

I am a mom of four married to a man for 25 years here soon. Oh my gosh, we have four, four girls. I mean, three girls and one boy.

And I am a co-founder and leader of the ministry dwellings were based out of Little Rock, Arkansas, and we've been at the Cypleship work here for many years.

I used to lead the women's ministry at our big mega church here in Little Rock, loved that, but the Lord led me to actually work for men and women and families in the church.

Our purpose at things is to inspire ordinary people to cultivate kingdom experiences and also house churches.

And so we are more pioneering movement. I think we're, you know, we've been in an age of deconstruction, lots of shifts in the church.

And a lot of us have been waiting on a few people, maybe the professionals or the pastors to kind of lead the way.

But we felt like that's really too much pressure on a few people. We all have to learn how to be spiritually alive.

And we all have to address our own communion with God and make sure we are sold out to him. And that's what's going to be what builds the church in this season.

So we're empowering and equipping everyday people to build small communities where they can, like there's open terrain before us.

And I think we need to be reminded and equipped to just go out and affect the people around us.

And so it's been really fun pioneering work. So that's what we're doing. And yeah, in this book, whole that's coming out that we'll talk some about is right in line with the work we've been doing with the ministry and some of the fruit we've seen over the last few years.

That's incredible. I think it's so cool that y'all are doing that. And you've taken the initiative to kind of start that movement, especially here in the United States.

Even with my husband's friend, slash like pastor and mentor up in Canada, their church felt really called to kind of like send out all of the people in their congregation who had like that mantle of leadership on them to go and start these house churches and communities.

Kind of like what you guys are doing where it's like, hey, let's have this intentional community where we're all coming together. And whenever they would grow, it's like, okay, you guys now you go start one and you guys now you go start one and it's like this movement that's happening.
