Hi guys, it's Casey and Danielle.

We haven't asked today and we have a give and we would like to offer this to our community.

And while we're urging you to listen until the end, we're also going to issue a trigger

warning as well because we're going to be naming the violence of anti-black racism.

Given the state of the country, our hearts are just simply not in the podcast this week.

Our hearts are with the families of George Floyd, Matt Arbery, Eric Garner, Tony McDodd,

Michael Brown, Brianna Taylor, and countless other victims of social injustice.

Our hearts are also deeply with our black listeners who have shouldered an experienced

systematic racism and fear on a daily basis while also carrying the collective pain of their

ancestors.

Much has been said and Casey and I as white women are reluctant to begin to name the

pain of others.

Pain we have been responsible for and had the luxury of being able to turn away from.

And while we now feel it's time for us to deeply listen, we also feel like silence

and not speaking up is just no longer acceptable.

So now it's time to do.

There are so many wonderful organizations to give to right now, but today would have been

Brianna Taylor's 27th birthday.

So we would like to focus our ask and our efforts on Brianna.

Many of you may already know but if there's repeating, Brianna and EMT and Louisville Kentucky,
