Daughter. I didn't come up with the concept for this episode. In fact, it sprang from a

Facebook message from a photographer that I met in Salt Lake City last winter.

His name is Peter Amend. He has a seven-month-old daughter named Juniper. He wrote in the message,

It would just be wonderful to hear from women about their favorite experiences with their dads,

things they wish could have been different, things they wish their

dad would have known.

He suggested, maybe have collars leave short one to two minute stories about their favorite

outdoor memories with dad.

And then he wrote, in parentheses, getting teary thinking about my daughter

romping around outdoors one day. How could I say no to that? I put the query out to you, the
