and this week we abandoned the car park and took off to one of the best locations to my mind anywhere in the northeast of Scotland.

Well, start of a new year And an absolutely pitch-perfect day, clear blue skies where we are, the frost is lifting,

which means that there are schemes of mist all over rural Aberdeenshire, just sort of lying,

a bit like scarves across the fields

and Benikey which is probably about four miles away

in this clarity of air it's almost as if you could touch it

it's almost like you can touch anything

there's this cotton wool lying in all the hollows

this is inspirational because this is a really special place.
