What's like the biggest thing parents can do?

The moment that a child has access to the internet, you need to have a

conversation as a parent with that child. And it starts with, there are adults on the internet who like

to trick kids. Kids don't like to be tricked. So it starts there and has to expand as the kid

matures and have these age appropriate conversationsate conversations continue because, you know,

when I was a kid, the rule was don't talk to strangers.

Right.

Good rule then.

Good rule today.

The problem is online, the guy who's a stranger on Tuesday is so adept at grooming your child.

He's not a stranger by Thursday, Friday, Saturday when the meeting is set up.

in the interviews, the video of what happened. And I see an alarming consistency in the methods of

grooming. And I don't think there's a class that teaches it, but I think predatory minds

think this way. And they're very adept at breaking down the traditional barriers that exist between

children and adults in society. They know when they have a vulnerable child. They know what to look for,

what to ask, how to introduce the idea of a sexual liaison, and it follows a pattern.

And these guys are out there to do this, and they have a fantasy, and they want to fulfill it.
