He did an interview with Matt Hayes of USA Today and he did a multi-hour interview with Blake Toppenmeyer

and others of USA today about about a variety of reasons a variety

of subjects of first though him trying to clean up what he said in Vanity Fair something that could

lead to him being punished potentially by the SEC when he when he talked about the racial diversity at Baton Rouge compared to Oxford.

He told Matt Hayes USA Today, that was not my opinion.

And Lane made a point saying,

I think people are missing the point that I didn't say that.

Do you think the SEC should punish Lane Kiffin?

No, I mean, unless he completely fabricated,

which it wouldn't shock me.

I assume that he had one or two of these incidents

over his five plus years in Oxford,

and then he ran with it and over sensationalized it.
