The high banks are the world's fastest speedway.

And they're getting ready for the races coming up, not this weekend, but next weekend,

here at the Talladega Super Speedway.

Welcome in to our broadcast booth for the next three hours or so as we get ready to talk

a lot of college football, some basketball portal, and one week from the NFL draft. We'll get to all that in a second. That's why people from 50 states and

multiple countries come here for the racing. There's no racing like Talladega racing, and it just starts with the people and the hospitality. Yep. It is true southern hospitality, and that's kind of the roots in Asgard. It's a southern sport. So I don't, I think here at Talladega, and I haven't been to any other tracks,

but here at Talladega, I don't think they've lost side of that. I think they realize that it is a,

it is a, a southern rooted sport, and they still have the southern hospitality here. Yeah, I don't know other places. You can get that fried bologna sandwich. I guess they've still got it here. They do.

Absolutely amazing.

I've never, I've met people from all over when I've, I've only been to one fall race,

and I've probably been to five or six spring races.

I don't know if I've ever met anybody from another country.

I know there are people that come in from other countries.

Yeah.

But do you recall any good stories of running across somebody from Germany or?

No, ironically, it was Germany to one couple I met that was from there. So that's funny you said that. Were they in the infield? Well, I mean, they love racing over there. Are you saying that because of the Audubon or just racing? No, just racing in general. They love to drive fast. It seems like they didn't. Fastest speedway. We have the world's fastest highway. We'll come here and check this place out. It was a couple from Germany. And I remember what they were asking. They were asking you if they had any beer gardens with a little accent. They wanted to know any beer gardens. And I said any one of these buttons right here is a beer guard by would that help me go see tony in turn three that's got a ton of it could you sell extra
