Summary

The Alabama Crimson Tide faces the Indiana Hoosiers in the Rose Bowl Tomorrow. This marks the 100th anniversary of Alabama Football’s first Rose Bowl appearance. Indiana Football has only played in one other Rose Bowl, this will be Alabama’s 9th Rose Bowl and they played a BCS Championship Game here, as well. The Tuesday availability report shows the Alabama Crimson Tide still as healthy as they have been in quite a while and Indiana Football still returning star WR Omar Cooper. Alabama WR Ryan Williams has confirmed his commitment to stay at Alabama after this season and has also addressed the fact that this year has not gone as he wished. Kalen DeBoer doubters: Could this be their final day or their finest hour? QB Pressures may be the key to victory for both Indiana and Alabama, who can have the edge? The “Alabama doesn’t belong” crowd is ready to go, have they placed way too much emphasis on bowl game outcomes of Alabama’s opponents? PLUS, LT's Trash presented by Bud Light! Kickoffs and tip-offs happening all over the college sports spectrum, which is worse, playing an 11 a.m. 12 local time bowl game on a Wednesday, like Vandy and Iowa's doing, are actually playing a conference basketball game at 11 o'clock on a Wednesday morning, 12 local time in Raleigh between Wake Forest and NC State. Why am I scheduling a regular season conference basketball game

1:02.3

at 12 noon on a Wednesday made for TV, I guess. But Wake Forest and NC State just tipping off.

1:08.6

But is Diego Pavia's last college football game, likely?

1:12.9

You guys, one thought on Pavia as they get going down in Tampa?

1:18.1

I mean, the most electric, most buzz we've ever had around a Vanderbilt player.

1:24.9

And like him or hate him and he's a very polarizing guy.

1:28.2

I mean, what he has been able to do for their brand has been, um, it's priceless.

1:32.6

He's not the best Vanderbilt football player of all time.

1:35.2

Pavia is not, but is probably going to go down as the most impactful, impactful, notable,

1:42.8

recognizable Vanderbilt football player of all time. I mean, do you not think Clark Lee's going to be out there in the portal when they're recruiting a quarterback? Look what Pavia did for us. He was the Heisman trophy winner, a runner up. Yeah, I mean, I just with the history of the SEC, Jim, I don't know how often you watch a game and you're like, that's the most impactful player in that school's history or the best player in that school's history because there have been so many great players in this sport. But with the history of Vanderbilt, I think you could say that about Pavia. He's not the best player that's ever played there. I wouldn't say that, but I would say he's the most impactful and the most notable. Yeah, guys. If you went around through the 16 teams in the SEC like I don't know for sure if you have clear cut in more than three or four.

2:23.1

Yeah. Like I think Mansell probably is. Like, again, not the best, but the most impactful. Yeah. I mean, John David Crow won a Heisman out there, but that was a different, you know, different era. Pavia would be that guy.

2:34.3

Like Alabama, who's the most impactful player? Is it Julio Jones just because of the recruiting? You could probably do a list of 10 or 15 that you could argue at Alabama. That's my point. And Vandy, it's not that difficult. That is a little start at the 11 o'clock Central on this New Year's Eve. this hour, final hour of the show, brought to you by Champy's World Famous Fried Chicken Highway 119 and Alabaster.

2:56.5
