Alabama basketball now has two top 10 wins. One of them true road game at St.

John's and now a neutral site win over Illinois. I'm watching the first part of that game last

night and I'm like, man, they're playing better. They're playing better defense, more energy.

They're more energy rebounding after getting out rebounded by 24 against Purdue. But I didn't think they were going to win the game. I was just like, man, I'm just glad to see that this is in the bag, going to be one and two in this stretch. I didn't think they would win the game. And then Keaton Bristow comes in the game, and he brings a little something extra. First time to play this year. He brings a little something extra. And then the tide starts to turn. It's only one point at the half. And then boom, Alabama takes the lead. They win it. They lead it for the final 18 minutes in 25 seconds. And they beat Illinois. You know, because the game got pushed back to 815 tip time, I guess local time for us. You know, Brown and I watched the majority of the first half when we tried to when we were doing trivia. And all we could talk about was, this looks like a hell of a game. And I know Phylon didn't have his best 30 minutes in that first half, but boy, absolutely blew it out in the second half. And Brown dropped me off of my house. About eight minutes to go in the game.

And, you know, for a minute when he got down to it,

I was like, damn, this thing might go to overtime.

I might be up late tonight.
