And Bob, happy week 12.

We kick it off tonight with the bills in Houston to take on the Texans.

And Khalil Shakir has been cleared to play after the birth of a child. He and his

wife welcoming a baby into the world. Didn't practice all week long. Is it safe to start Shakir as

usual after that? I think yes, but we're going to want to verify. I mean, zero practices has my

guard up, but the fact he was removed from the injury report to me suggest they expect him to play. So we'll be watching for that. Have your fallback plans in place. They will be copious since it's a Thursday night game. But yeah, definitely check into it and make sure. Right. And of course, Dalton Kincaid's been ruled out, as we suspected would be the case. I assume you're not interested in starting any other Buffalo tight end in this game. No, I'm not going to do that. There are plenty of fiction to see the rest of the weekend. Um, E Cole Hardman and Curtis Samuel both ruled out any interest in wide receiver Tyrell Shavers after a big game last week. I mean, he is kind of interesting. It was a big game, but it goes beyond that. You look over, you know, the snaps shares for that game.

He added as many as Shakir. They were both at 30 snaps each ahead of Curtis Samuel, Joshua Bomber, gave Davis, you know, below them. So there's enough role. He's been mixing in quite a bit over the last few weeks. So, so yeah, he's worth a waiver wire pickup for sure. All right. for the Houston Texans, no injury designation for Dalton Shultz.

Where does he rank for you among tight ends this week? His initial football guy's projection is tight end six. That feels about right. The bills are a tough matchup for tight end. They've allowed the fewest points per game to the position. That's 5.9 per week. But Schultz has finished with at least six catches and at least eight targets in four of his last five games. He's been very busy. All right. So we know C.J. Stroud have been ruled out to Davis Mills. We'll get the start. Nico Collins done on in the injury report. So that is good news as well. So we move into the weekend, Bob. Michael Pennix officially placed on IR. he underwent surgery to deal with what I guess they're describing as a partially torn ACL.

But he's out for the year.

As we know, Kurt Cousins is in and he's going to have the full week of practice.

Look, Couss has been around the block.

Bob, is it possible that he shakes off the rust and at least keeps the Falcons passing game afloat enough to allow Bajon Robinson to operate? I mean, yes, it's possible. We might also be wishcasting there. I mean, he'll be without one of the best receivers in the league in Drake, London. The rest of that wide receiving core has not been very productive. Darmel Mooney in particular has gotten lots of targets,

but done very little with them. Cadaral Haig should move into the starting lineup. He's done very

little as well. But that doesn't keep this offense from leaning into Robinson, Kyle Pitts, and Tyler

Algierre. That might be enough. And there's always the hope that Bejohn will break off some of his

trademark big plays.

Yeah, no doubt.

They take on the Saints this weekend.

And they'll do it without Brandon Cooks being around.
