I'm Julie Chang for the Wall Street Journal. Trump Media and Technology Group has agreed to merge with the alphabet-backed fusion energy

firm TAE Technologies in a deal valued at over $6 billion. The tie-up is a move to address the

explosion of energy demands caused by the

global AI boom by utilizing TAE's leading fusion technology. The combined company plans to begin

construction next year on a 50-magawatt utility scale fusion power plant. Under the deal,

Trump Media and T.A TAE technologies would split ownership roughly

evenly. The transaction is expected to close in mid-2020. Technology consulting firm, Accenture,

reported higher first-quarter sales driven by growth in its advanced AI business. Revenue increased

6% to $18.7 billion, surpassing Wall

Street expectations. The company secured new bookings of $20.9 billion, a 12% rise, which

included $2.2 billion in advanced AI bookings. Earlier this month, Accenture struck a three-year partnership

with startup Anthropic to provide AI services to businesses. Accenture has also expanded its

AI collaboration with Palantir Technologies and has teamed up with OpenAI and co-hear.

And DoorDash is partnering with OpenAI to offer grocery shopping within

ChatGPT. Under the partnership, users can ask ChatGPT for meal or recipe suggestions, then ask the chatbot to

shop using the DoorDash app. Users would be able to build their carts and place orders through DoorDash

apps within the chat. DoorDash said the app in Chatchipit is currently live for select users
