Oscela for the Wall Street Journal. We exclusively report that U.S.

auto safety regulators have opened an investigation into a recent

fatal car wreck that is suspected to have involved Ford's advanced driver assistance technology.

On February 24th, a 2022 Ford Mustang Mock E-S-U-V struck the rear of a Honda CRV that was

stationary in a traffic lane on an interstate in Texas. That's according to a police

report.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said it was adding the incident to a list of special investigations into auto crashes that are potentially linked to partially automated driving features.

Evie Maker Fisker is pausing production for six weeks as it continues deal talks with a large automaker and works to keep the business running.

Last month, the company warned that there was quote substantial

doubt about its ability to stay in business and then hired restructuring advisors

to assist with a possible bankruptcy filing. Now the company says the pause will

allow it to align inventory levels and focus on strategic and financing initiatives.
