Here's your morning TNB Tech Minute for Monday, June 1st. I'm Imani-Mawes for the Wall Street Journal.

NVIDIA has unveiled the first personal laptop designed to run AI agents using a newly designed

version of the company's signature AI chips. The company is introducing the RTX Spark to power

the computers and said it will work with six manufacturers, including Dell and Microsoft,

to build the laptops. Eventually, Nvidia plans to have 30 laptop and about 10 desktop models

using the new chips, which will be targeted at creators, AI developers, and gamers, and priced at the premium end of the market.

SoftBank has pledged at least $52 billion to build a massive network of AI data centers in France.

The Japanese company says the project will provide up to 3.1 gigawatts of computing capacity by 2031, making it Europe's largest AI project.

French President Emmanuel Macron has been pushing for domestic data centers to help Europe catch up with tech spending in the U.S. and China.

And Motorola Solutions has signed a $1.5 billion deal to buy a counter-jone technology company,
