Chipmaker Invidia has reported fourth quarter earnings that surpassed Wall Street's heightened expectations.

The company's quarterly sales tripled from a year ago.

It made $22.1 billion of revenue in its last fiscal quarter, higher than analyst forecasts of around 20.4 billion dollars.

Net profit was 12.29 billion dollars compared to 1.41 billion dollars a year earlier.

Invidia also forecast around 24 billion dollars of sales for its current quarter,

ahead of analyst expectations.

The company indicates momentum from the artificial intelligence boom remains strong.

Reddit plans to sell stock to 75,000 of its biggest users when it goes public next

month. That's according to people familiar with the matter.

The users will have the opportunity to buy Reddit shares at its initial public offering

price before the stock starts trading, a privilege normally reserved only for big investors.
