Nvidia is in talks with Wave Technologies over a possible $500 million investment in the

self-driving car startup, potentially expanding their collaboration with autonomous vehicles.

Nvidia's previous investment in Wave raised more than $1 billion from investors last year.

Wave's AI training and fleet learning infrastructure is built on Microsoft Azure, which relies on

Nvidia hardware.

Wave's upcoming platform would be built on NVIDIA's Drive AGX Thor, according to NVIDIA.

Waves co-founder said continued support from NVIDIA underscored confidence in its tech. In other NVIDIA news, the Chip Giant pledge

$2 billion, that's $2.7 billion, to boost AI startups and speed up the creation of new

jobs and businesses in UK hubs like London, Oxford, Cambridge, and Manchester.

Along with it, venture capital investors, Excel, Airstreet Capital, Balderton, Hoxton Ventures, and Phoenix Court

will join in investing to jumpstart the AI ecosystem in the UK.

And Amazon's finance teams are now using generative AI in new ways

to more efficiently comply with complex tax regulations, help evaluate the financial impact of new

products, and better analyze changes in revenue. The move is the latest in the company's big push

into AI, including investing billions of dollars on

tech infrastructure. Chief Executive Andy Jaze said earlier this summer that AI will result in a smaller workforce in the next few years.
