Google has suspended the ability to generate images of people in its flagship chatbot Gemini.

The move follows an online backlash around the tools treatment of race and ethnicity.

Google said it would pause the feature in Gemini as it worked to address recent issues with quote inaccuracies in some historical

depictions.

Google didn't say for how long it would be suspending the ability to generate human images.

Reddit has filed for an initial public offering.

That's according to a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

The company said it has applied to list its shares on the New York stock exchange under the symbol

RDDT.

It didn't detail how many shares it would issue or the price of each share.

Reddit filed confidentially for an IPO in late 2021.
