Apple has unveiled a system-wide update to software on its devices called Apple Intelligence.

Apple showed off the AI system at its Worldwide Developers Conference conference which started today.

The company also announced a partnership with Open AI and its ChatGPT.

Some AI functions such as answering complex queries or composing messages could be handled by chat gee.

Wall Street Journal owner News Corp has a content licensing partnership with Open AI.

Open AI has appointed two new executives.

Sarah Friar was named Chief Financial Officer.

She most recently served as CEO of Social Networking

platform next door.

The chat gpity maker also hired Kevin Wyle as chief product officer.

Wyle was the president of product and business at Planet Labs, the Google-backed satellite

imaging company.

And Volvo Car has recalled all of its new fully electric EX-30 SUVs, nearly 72,000 cars,

after discovering a bug in its display software.
