He is from Meekam Auctions, and he is a consignment agent.

He has been there since it was his part-time gig, for 15 years his part-time gig.

But in his time there, Meekam has gone from a little auction in the Midwest to one of the

biggest in the world. They have an entire team to help value cars, collections, needs for clients,

even their own mechanics who get everything running, because as you learn, most collectors

enjoy the buying part first and foremost, and then 40 years later, just have a bunch of cars that

need a new home. and just because cars are rare

doesn't mean they're valuable but because of 2025 and not 2015 some stuff that wasn't valuable

before is now very valuable Gus will share what to do when where how and really how the business

of Meekam works but for Gus this whole journey started when he bought a car for a buddy at a Meekam

auction and he wasn't happy about it.

Then Dana Meekam stepped in.

And it was an emotional one for me, ups and down, but I'm good.

I'm happy, and my good friend is happy to.

He goes, well, that's not nice.

He goes, let me at least go back and give your friend his fee money back, so that could help him if he decides to work on the car.

I said, well, that would be kind of you.
