I love this man.

Very down to earth.

It's the second time he's been on this show. He did my show a year ago. And he's becoming quite famous. He's Dr. Eric Smith. He is Tammy Sleaton and her brother Chris's bariatric surgeon. He heavily featured, of course, on season four, which is now airing season four on TLC of the Thousand Pound Sisters.

He's got a lot of updates on our girl, Tammy Slayton. So here's Dr. Eric Smith back on the podcast.

By the way, are you like so famous now? Do people come up to you and go, oh my God, you're Tammy Slaten's bariatric surgeon?

I mean, do you get surgeon. Do people know you?

It does, random places.

Sometimes when you least expect, I had one of my sons on a college visit last year.

And I was having lunch with him at like a Chipotle or something.

And there was a bunch of other kids there.

And I felt like these two people were standing, staring at me and him. and I look up, and she's like, I'm so sorry, are you Tammy's doctor? And I'm like, excuse me? She's like, are you, are you Dr. Smith, aren't you? And I said yes. And so she yells back, hey, I told you all. So then my poor son, who's completely mortified, you know, he's like, really, I'm on a college visit.
