And there are times when it just blows up.

Sometimes it's intense stuff like a friend debating whether they should quit their job or other times it's lighter.

Like someone asking where they can get a good curly haircut.

But no matter what the topic, everyone is weighing in.

Because group chats, they can often feel like free therapy.

Somewhere you can immediately consult a panel of experts who know the facts of your life as well as you do.

Personally, I love them and I wanted to bring those vibes to the podcast.

So recently we did our first live show for WNYC's Work at Festival at the Ace Hotel in LA.

And for the show, we brought the group chat off the phone and on to the stage.
