Hello and welcome to gayest episode ever, the podcast where we discuss the LGBTQ episodes of

classic sitcoms.

I'm Drew Mackey. I'm Glenn Lakin. Glenn, what sitcom are we discussing today? The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Accurate. I would ask you what your experience is with this show, but I feel like it was entirely with me, so we have more or less the same experience of it. Yeah, except I haven't seen that Choose Your Own Adventure sequel movie. I actually haven't either, because every time I try to watch it, it's like, oh, you can't use it on this device. And I'm like, okay, it doesn't seem like it would require that much technology. But there is technically a sequel, too. If you just, I think if you just put the Netflix app on your PS5 and use your PS5 is your controller for Netflix, they'll let you do it. Okay. I mean, I got my PS5 a while ago, and I just haven't really spent the time with it. You know, it's okay. No, you watch your watching apps through your Apple TV. What technology could they have on the PS5 that they don't have on the Apple thing? You're just picking one thing or the other, right? I have no idea. Okay. Well, I guess we'll never know. Wait, have we never done a Kimmy Schmidt episode before? No, Glenn. Oh, well. I don't know. Every now and then someone will ask me online like, oh, you did this episode, right? And I'll just like Google. Google it because I don't know for sure.

You know there's a URL that lists every episode we've ever done ever? I do know that. Okay. I would refer to that if you are confused. But no, we did a 30 Rock episode. We've never done Kimmy Schmidt. Have we only done one 30 Rock? Yes. Oh, we should know the 30 Rock. I guess. I mean, we're going to talk about 30 Rock in here.

This is sort of a follow up to the 30 Rock episode, which was controversial.

And for me, annoying. Wait, controversial for our audience? I said some, yes, I said something that engaged me in really annoying conversations. And I'm going to say it again and try to clarify what I meant. Okay. Specifically a thing where someone's like, you said this. I was like, no, no, I said this. I'm like, stop moving the goalpost. I'm like, it's not moving in the goalpost to clarify what I meant. Believe me, I live inside my head. I was aware. Anyway, Glenn, what was our experience of Unbreakable Kidney Schmidt. We watched it. We did. It's true.

I believe we enjoyed it.

Yeah.

Obviously, this is not even hindsight.

There were obviously storylines and portrayals in this series that were in very poor taste at the time and even more so now.
