And we got through not very much last week, guys.

We got through election. Yeah, we got through the first four verses of Paul's little epistle here to

Titus. But there was a lot packed into those four verses. Paul came out with the deep stuff right from

the beginning.

Yeah.

We kind of talked about, you know, what Paul is after in this letter.

And it was kind of a good place to stop because verse five, he really does start getting into what he has to say.

And what he has to say is Titus, I'm going to have you

pick up, I'm going to have you pick some guys for these churches. I've planted these churches,

but I'm now planning more churches, or I'm in prison or whatever. I'm not around. So I've

entrusted you that you're going to put people in to sort of manage overseas

shepherd these churches. And that's that's kind of what we run into at the beginning of this

episode. Yeah, it's pretty clear what Paul's goal is in the very from the right at the outset for

Titus. And we did discuss last week that Titus is in a rough area

Paul is going to acknowledge that again and again throughout this letter so let's dive in

verse five it says this is why I left you in Crete so that you might put what remained into order

and appoint elders in every town as I directed you. So a couple of things to just jump out
