0:45.0	Julie Williams was born on the 11th of September in 1957 in Murtha Tidville in Wales.
0:59.0	Julie attended Ascolly Greg Primary School and Vayna and Penderan Comprehensive School before she studied psychology
1:06.3	at the University of Cardiff.
1:08.2	Professor Williams is a leading authority on neuropsychological genetics and her research aims to study the risk of developing
1:15.0	psychological and neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer's disease.
1:19.4	Julie also served as the chief scientific advisor to the Welsh government between 2013 and 2017.
1:26.4	She was just the second person to hold down that job.
1:29.8	She's currently the centre director at the UK Dementia Research Institute in Cardiff.
