Summary

Jeff Ratcliffe previews the Tennessee Titans and Washington Commanders for 2022 fantasy football purposes. Jeff kicks things off with what we should be doing with Treylon Burks in fantasy football drafts, Derrick Henry's outlook, and how we should be valuing Ryan Tannehill. He then dives into what to expect from Carson Wentz, which Commanders wideout offers more value, and how to handle Antonio Gibson and Brian Robinson in drafts.

They traded away. AJ Brown in the NFL draft and by the way, I already talked about him and Philly. So you can go back to that podcast if you didn't already listen to it. But they traded him away.

2:56.6

And you might ask, well, why would they have done that? Well, they had a contract issue. This class of whiteouts and we've seen somebody's guys getting paid. Debo DK, even McLaren and to a lesser extent, McLaren and Dianne Johnson. But they were going to have an issue with AJ Brown. They were going to have to pay him a butt load.

3:17.0

And that is a technical term. And they weren't willing to pay him a butt load. So what do you do? I mean, you get something for him. And in this case, they got a first round pick 18th overall was part of that deal, which they did use on Traylon Berks. Now heading into the draft, Traylon Berks, which all this analysis is in the rookie fantasy scouting guided FTN fantasy.com.

3:40.0

Traylon Berks was one of my favorites in this class. If you watched him last year or just over the course of his college career at Arkansas, he was kind of like a bigger Debo Samuel or like he was like an AJ Brown in a lot of ways, like very similar size profile to AJ Brown, can play all over the field and all offensive weapon, you know, kind of a, you know, movable chess piece, not in the conventional sense of like a Tyree kill or Debo, but like a bigger version of that.

4:10.0

And I mean, the reports just have not been good. I mean, what can I say, I would love to just go down with this ship, but here's what I'm going to, here's what I'll tell you. In the off season, asthma, not playing well, okay, I'll take that for what it is. Last year, remember, there were off season negative reports about your March chase that ended up not being worth anything. But then in the preseason, he has not been working with the ones like Nick Westbrook, a keen as ahead of him, which is not a good story.

4:40.1

He's now banged up with an injury. So to start the season out, if you draft trailer in Berks, by the way, he's still going in like the ninth round, eighth round, if you draft him, you're probably not going to get anything out of it.

4:53.5

But I don't want to sit here and just say, well, the book's written, he's a bust because football hasn't even started yet. So I don't know if we can go that far, but by the same token, if you draft him expecting something early in the season, no, you're probably not going to get it.

5:08.5

I'd be very surprised with that being said, by the end of the season, if we start to see him emerge a little bit, that's not going to surprise me as well. So like, what I've basically been doing is I've been fading him and redraft.

5:22.3

And I actually tossed a couple low ball offers out there in Dynasty, like Dynasty rookie drafts, some of them may even happen fairly recently, but you know, even if you go back to like mid May, it's not that long ago.
