Good morning everyone and welcome back to the Messy masterpiece podcast with Chad and Tori.

And unfortunately it's just me today.

Sweet Tori was feeling a little bit under the weather and I said hey no need to push it.

I got this, no worries, you get some rest and we all know that Tori is with us in spirit.

As we get ready to round out this year of daily devotionals y'all, but guess what?

We didn't come this far just to stop.

We came this far to keep pushing and keep pressing into the Lord.

So we thank you for each and every day that you tune in.

And today we're picking up on day 7 of our God with us devotional and the Bible app.

I'm going to read the scripture and I'm going to be reading the Devo.

The scripture is Isaiah 7 verse 14 and it says this.

All right then the Lord Himself will give you a sign.

Look, the Virgin will conceive a child.

She will give birth to a son and will call him Emmanuel, which means God is with us.

And the devotional is titled Emmanuel.

It's not a miracle that the God of the universe chose to come to earth as a baby, such

grander and humility all in one.

It can be easy to question how this could be.

And that's exactly what Mary did when the angel Gabriel greeted her with the news that

she would conceive the son of God.
