Today I'll have some tips for the new Disney Starlight Parade that's coming up on this episode 472 of WW Prep to W.D.D.P.2. Prep to go retalk strategy and ideas for people

playing their Disney Real trips. I am your host Shannon Albert from WDW Prep School.com. Thank you for being

0:35.1

here for episode 472. I am fresh from a trip to Florida.

0:39.9

Hello from Mexico. And it was my first trip back in a while, a great chance to do a few things

0:47.4

that were new to Disney World and new to me, obviously. The biggest of those being the new Disney

0:52.5

Starlight parade. So I wanted to just kind of go over

0:56.0

that. And then at the end, I'll have the daily updates that I did from the parks. If you didn't catch

1:02.4

those in real time, you can listen to those at the end. As always, a reminder to follow on social media.

1:08.1

And if you want to be a trip report guest, there's only one way to do that.

1:18.0

And that is by using the speakpipe information in the show notes of every episode. And if you just submit like a voicemail, usually about one minute or so with the details of your trip. If it works out

1:24.9

with our schedule, somebody in my team will reach out to you to get the pre-trip and the post-trip schedule. And if you're not already a patron, please feel free to

1:32.5

join us over there. It's a very supportive community of people that are pro-science, pro-human

1:39.3

rights, my favorite kind of people. And it's one of the only civilized Disney related Facebook groups that I've

1:48.1

been in. So I think that there's something to being in paid communities. I started that way 20 years

1:54.4

ago. And I think everyone just, you know, wants it to work. Once you're a member, you want to act like a community,

2:02.1

and that's exactly what it is. So I love it over there. Okay, so I guess let's talk about a few

2:08.9

things related to this trip. One is that summer tends to be a low crowd time. So if it is a time that you are considering going, the crowds are just not that

2:21.8

bad. It is also a great time for planners. So anybody listening to this would fall into that category.

2:28.4

People don't tend to know about mobile ordering, about lightning lanes, about sort of hidden gyms like Nomad Lounge or

2:37.6

the Caval de tequila, you know, these kind of things. So if you're a planner, it's a great time

2:43.6

because they're just not on the same sort of touring or knowledge level. And so it's easy to plan around them as well as it being

2:52.5

relatively low crowds. Now the new Starlight parade is going to be a bit of an exception because
