2:01.0	I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2013 with a degree in journalism.
2:07.0	I always thought that I would be this great big-time journalist.
2:12.0	Then reality hit me when I graduated in 2013 and nobody wanted to hire me.
2:17.0	I had no job.
2:18.0	Then I started freelancing from my mom's couch.
2:22.0	I was this stereotype.
2:24.0	I freelanced for about a year working at both USA Today and CNN.
2:29.0	Because I was young, they were like, can you do social media?
2:32.0	I was like, I guess so.
2:34.0	I did.
2:35.0	Social media wrote a few articles here and there, but nothing big.
2:38.0	Then I moved to New York or to the media startup called Aussie.
2:42.0	At the time, I didn't know what startup was at all.
2:46.0	But luckily, I was so early that they were just raising their first round of capital.
2:51.0	I kind of got to see that process from within.
2:54.0	I was there for six months and then I went to join Fortune Magazine in 2014,
2:59.0	which I thought was my dream job.
3:02.0	I was like, oh, business journalism.
