0:04.9	On today's show, we're going to be talking about one of our favorite investors, Mr. Stanley
0:08.4	Druckermiller.
0:09.8	Mr. Druckermiller was born in 1953 and he's been in the investment world since dropping
0:14.0	out of his PhD program at the University of Michigan in 1977 to take on a job at Pittsburgh
0:20.2	National Bank.
0:22.0	After only one year, he became the head of the bank's equity research group.
0:26.0	And by 1981, Mr. Druckermiller formed DuKane Capital Management.
0:30.8	Then in 1988, he was hired by George Soros to work at the Quantum Fund.
0:35.1	This is when Stanley became a household name because he famously broke the bank of England
0:39.5	by shorting the British pound and realizing a billion dollar gain.
0:43.4	In addition to being one of the smartest investors in the world, Mr. Druckermiller is a philanthropist
0:47.7	and is donated in excess of a billion dollars.
