And there's a fair chance that you're going to hear some wind whipping in the distance.

It is quite a hot day here. And it's been a hot night and we have

something called Santa Ana's going on. Santa Ana is a kind of southwestern. I guess

they exist elsewhere in the world but we grew up with them. Noam is southwestern

gusts of wind that are brought on by rapid heat changes as the day turns to night from the ground turning into it.

And I thought, well, that's kind of scary.

But then I found out about these here fucking fire tornadoes? That hit, uh, that done took out a city of 135,000 people in America and nobody really talked about it because of all the other news going on.

Uh, Dorochos, I believe, is what we're going to call them, even though we shouldn't.

But basically, lightning strikes are creating fires that create hurricane category two,

gale force wind sustained out of nowhere, because you can see a hurricane

coming, but these are lightning storms that cause heat that's so extreme that they cause

hurricane force wind out of nowhere. Really?

Like, you know a lightning storm might come, but not one of these.

We don't really have good warning systems for them yet.

Or maybe we do.

I did, I mean, again, we're using a Spanish word for a terminology in modern ways.

And I haven't heard that since El Niño.

Like, why don't you just tell us what the phenomena is?

It's like, no, no, no, if we say it in Spanish, we don't have to explain as much.
