| 0:48.0 | I'm sure most people know who Jeff Bezos is. He's the founder of Amazon. His net worth is around $29 billion. |
| 0:55.0 | And this is one of the books that he highly recommends for executive management and leadership within his organization. |
| 1:01.0 | So that's why we picked this one up. I was really, really excited to read this book because I know Bezos puts a lot of emphasis on it. |
| 1:08.0 | And it's one of his top reads for the company. But I really, I did not enjoy this book. |
| 1:16.0 | I really didn't. Let me start off with this. |
| 1:19.0 | The information that is in this book that you're going to read is absolutely 100% great information. |
| 1:27.0 | It is information that was really going to lead decision makers down the right path inside of an organization. |
| 1:33.0 | But my issue with the book was that it was really boring. I just did not have fun reading this. This was, it was bad. |
| 1:43.0 | You know, I think of it like this. When we are reading the book, how to win friends and influence people. |
| 1:49.0 | I love that book. And I think the reason that that book is so good is because you learn and you also have stories that go with it at the same time. |
| 1:58.0 | And the writing style and Carnegie's How to Win Friends is just fantastic because he starts off with the story and he walks you down this really interesting story where you don't know where it's going to go. |
| 2:08.0 | And then at the end, you hear the conclusion of the story and then he wraps it up really nicely with like the learning lesson. |
| 2:14.0 | This was more like this book here, the effective executive was just like they were just telling you, hey, you got to do this. |
