When you first made it to the WNBA, who's the first person to bust your ass?

When I first made it to the WNBA, who was the first person?

Jennifer Gillum. Jennifer Gillum. She's a sleeper.

It's a city. Killer.

It often times, all the sleepers. She gave you work.

Well, you know, like, Jen, she wasn't really a sleeper. It was just she was old school. You

know, she spent so many so much time like overseas. So she came, you know, when she came back,

like there were so many just kind of like, you know, women's basketball grades, but they hadn't

been at home playing in front of everybody. Jennifer had this like slow motion fall away. It was

just hard for anybody to guard. So it wasn't necessarily the buckets. It was just that it was one

of those shots, like a cream hook shot that you just could get to, you know?

You couldn't stop it.

Inglewood, Morningside. Why you decided to go to Morningside?

Well, you know, like, I'm originally from Los Angeles, like Born and Ray. So Inglewood was far

a little bit, you know? From where I grew up. But I actually was supposed to go to Palisades

high school because it was the high school that was kind of like, you know, sister or brother to

my junior high school. But education wise, it was amazing. But I went there for the first practice.

It was kind of like a tryout. And, you know, the coaches like, Tina, you don't have to try out.

Just kind of show up because they kind of knew who I was. And we're like L.A. Palisades is in

Brentwood, right? You know? So I didn't know what to expect. And I showed up to the first practice

and like half of the chicks trying out how Jean shorts daisy dudes.

And L.A. we wear these flip flops, you know? They're kind of like, you know, a beachy like
