From an apartment in southeastern Michigan on a dead end road surrounded by fields and the

howls of coyotes Tina and Ryan Smaker relocated to New York City. They brought

with them a passion project, an online magazine that they've been working on in their spare time.

In their new home, the wildlife became street life, the howls were replaced by horn blasts and their magazine also changed from a side gig to a full-time project.
