So good. I like that intro. Welcome to Never Before a Conversation series where I asked some of my faves, some searing, super serious, super fun, super silly questions that will hopefully

allow you to see them like you've never seen them before.

But before I get all up in their business, I should probably tell you just a little bit about

myself.

I was born in raised in Hawaii on the island of Oahu.

I'm the middle of five kids, the first of my family to go to college, and I began my career in media as an editor at people.com.

I wrote two memoirs about growing up and coming of age as a trans girl, and I strive to tell stories and to create mirrors that allow the kid that I once was to really just see herself.

And now I'm a podcast host.

It's kind of cool, right?

Combining my love of conversation and culture,

famous folk and feminism in never before.

On this podcast, I'm sharing space and thoughts

with the biggest pop figures

and pushing them beyond their precious and practice sound bites to share with me and you

all the things they've never shared revealed or said before we'll talk about how they got to where they are now

we'll talk about the moves and mishaps that shape them and we'll laugh and nod and cry and cackle and

sigh and do all of the things together.
