It's time

Another edition of Fighting for the Faith.

Now we will be doing our light episode today.

However, we're going to take a break for a couple of weeks from my rambling through the Book of Genesis. That will continue though.

Thank you for tuning in, you're listening to fighting for the faith. My name is

Chris Roseboro. I am your servant in Jesus Christ and this is the program

that dishes up a daily dose of biblical discernment, the goal of which help you to think

biblically, help you to think critically, and help you compare what people are saying in the

name of God to the word of God. There is no shortage of crazy things being set out there.

We take the time to slow down and stop and open up

our Bibles and see if what people are saying actually squares with what God's words says when we look at it in context.

Part of the way of learning discernment though is by listening to good Bible preachers.

It's not just, it's not about listening to bad preachers who are twisting God's word and figuring how they twisted it.

It's also about being fed and taught by men who skillfully and rightfully handle God's word and teach the truth.

So today what we're going to be doing is we're going to be listening to another sermon

by Alistair Begg also on 2 Timothy Chapter 3.

This is on 2 Timothy Chapter 3 verses 1 through 9 and the name of the sermon is

entitled times of difficulty and it is so critical this time in church history for us to hear this message that I would be committing a crime of sorts if you would if I didn't pass it along to you the fighting for the
