Today's book is Timeline by Michael Crichton.

I'm Kellanurski, and I'm a comic, a father, and if I could go back in time, I would besiege

the production company that made the terrible movie of this book.

And I'm David Vance. I too followed the Michael Crichton path of becoming a writer by first failing to be a doctor.

Timeline asks, what if a bunch of medieval historians time traveled back to the only era where they are cool?

And this is the book pile. I'm going to push back a little bit on your joke because he never

wanted to be a doctor. I read that he went to med school and within the first couple weeks was like,

oh, I hate this. Sure, but I'm saying he didn't fail at it.

He was just like, well, I'll go through with this, but I will simultaneously write and sell

novels while in med school.

Oh, I'm not saying he was bad at it.

I'm saying we just realized we hated it at different places in our progression and debt.

All right, today we're doing a Michael Crichton deal where if you leave us a review, that will turn out to be a terrible mistake full of hubris with unimaginable consequences.
