podcast. I am Kyra Carlin and I am so excited to talk to you guys today

about pursuing your dreams. I am the first person to tell you that it is so easy to sell yourself short

because selling yourself short gives you the chance to fail and be okay with it. I have noticed first and

farmost this last year when I was putting my doubts at the front line, I was not getting as

disappointed when something didn't go my way. If I was setting big goals but I wasn't actually getting

there, it wasn't hurting my feelings

nearly as much as setting these big, huge, audacious goals and then falling flat on my face.

I was finding myself, like, making small goals so I could get that small win.

But if you think about it, are you actually getting anything out of it by getting all

these little bitty goals?

You have to learn to celebrate along the way.

But when it comes down to it, if you're not setting big, huge goals and really pushing yourself, you're not celebrating nearly as much.

I was actually noticing that I was looking for reasons why I was going to fail.

So then I was going to be able to say

it was okay that I didn't, you know, I didn't succeed. I didn't get to the dream I wanted to.

I didn't get the car I wanted. I didn't get the job I wanted. I didn't get the raise I wanted.
