I understand that Donald Trump has launched a last minute attack on Social Security.

Tell us about it.

Yes, you know Tom, he's been attacking Social Security the entire time he's in office.

But he really has accelerated it.

You know, got his wrecking crew on their way out the door to try to ram through a bunch of rules.

And the way the process works is if they can get them through,

you can't just turn them right off in a new administration.

It actually takes the process necessary.

So these are bad, bad attacks on Social Security.

One of them just in a couple days is going to, the rule is going to go through.

It replaces the administrative law judge who are independent judges that look at casework and make a determination

with basically political people.

And so you could see someone like Donald Trump in the future saying, you know, deny all cases.

And these political people with no independence would do that.

It's really undermining a poor part of Social Security.
