America Movement and thrilled to be joined again by Julie Reginsky of Salty Politics, one of the

very best writers on Substack. How you doing, Julie? Great and so good to be with you again, Steve.

Thanks so much for having me.

How do you see things right now? What's going on in the world? The president has just arrived in China. Here we are in May. Gas prices are over $7 in California. It appears the economy is seizing.

We're 180-some days out from a midterm election.

What's the status of things through your eyes?

Not interesting that the president is showing up in China as a supplicant,

which is what he is right now.

We're talking about a president who has destroyed the farming industry here in the United States.

China is not buying soybeans from our farmers anymore the way that they used to.

Certainly China is helping the Iranians in ways that are both overt and covert. We would like them to stop doing that. And so on. I mean, there's so many things. We've slapped tariffs on China.

And of course, that hurts China's economy, but it certainly also has led to massive inflation,

as we saw today, not just with Iran war, but more broadly,

that inflation is up in ways that Joe Biden could only have had horrible nightmares about

after COVID ended.

Obviously, inflation was higher, but this is way, way, way past COVID.

It is self-manufactured by this administration.

And so what's interesting to me is that he's showing up there, but he's showing up there
