Church family, I'm excited because today we are continuing the brand new sermon series,

the last sermon series of the 2023 calendar year entitled Timing.

Somebody say Timing.

The reason I believe the Holy Spirit has us going this route with this particular series is because God wants us to know,

listen, I need my people to be aware of the role that they play with colliding with their appointed time.

There's so much teaching about the timing of God.

And so we just think it's going to happen just because God is going to allow it to happen.

God's like, okay, hold up, your decisions and obedience matter too.

If they didn't, the text wouldn't tell us in Ecclesiastics Chapter 7,

verse 17, don't be over wicked, don't be a fool,

why must you die before your time?

If it was not possible for you to live a life of rebellion and disobedience and

and miss your appointed time. And as I was reading this particular article a few

weeks ago, it contained a very powerful quote by Henry Harvey McKay.

He's an amazing author, Harvey McKay.

He said this, time it's free, but yet it's priceless.

Time, you can't own it, own it, but you can use it.

Time, you can't keep it, but you can't use it. Time, you can't keep it, but you can spend it.

Time, time.

The gift of time and discipline with time management is the highest form of stewardship.

Say it one more time. The gift of time because time is a gift. I want us to start viewing your time like your life.

Because time is life. When you have no longer life this means you're no longer in time.
