You did not have to watch the Jets lose on Sunday because they lost on Thursday to the New England Patriots. On today's show, we're going to talk about three things that need to change after that loss to the Patriots.

There are some players on defense who need to step up.

This defense can't work unless certain players are performing at a high level.

The Jets need to rethink the way they are utilizing one of their top players on offense.

And yes, I think it's time for a quarterback change.

I think Justin Fields has played his way out of the lineup, and that's where we will begin on today's show.

You know, there's really no defending Justin Fields at this point.

I mean, this performance he put Thursday against the Patriots, 15 of 26, 116 yards, so a 4.5 yard average and by the way that is the fifth start in 2025 where

fields has average less than five yards per attempt and you've got to be over seven to be good even

if you're at seven yards per attempt you know that's a little shaky but fields has been under five

now and over half of his starts.

I mean, it just has not worked.

And, you know, I'm sure when we look back at the 2025 season, we can place some blame on the Jets.

You know, I think we can start by asking why they signed Fields if this was the sort of offense they were going to run

because the only way this was ever going to work with Justin Fields was if you reconfigure

the offense around the things he's at least supposed to do well. And I got to be honest with you,

having watched Fields play this season, I'm not even convinced he could run that sort of offense because even though he's a very
