Summary

Episode Description In this episode, we talk about the strange feeling that time is speeding up. Days that used to feel full now disappear before we even get our bearings, and somehow 24 hours feels more like 16. Is this just what happens as you get older, or is there something deeper going on? We get into the psychology of time, how routines and responsibilities change our perception, and why life can start to feel like it’s moving faster than we can keep up with. We also entertain the more out-there possibilities… because honestly, it does feel a little suspicious. Sponsor - EarthRunners We absolutely LOVE our EarthRunners in the Morrow household. Not that I remember. Really? No. Again, ironically, we did Easter egg hunts. Like, you know, small ones.

0:47.2

Oh, well, that's all you need. Yeah, but like I don't think anybody else is like going. No, but families, it's like a huge thing for families to get together.

1:07.6

My grandma, I did not see her very often. Yeah. Didn't even see her on Christmas. But I usually saw her on Easter. Yeah. It was, she would either come to Paducah or we went to Bowling Green. Now, you grew up Catholic. Is Catholic? Easter? Is Easter like, I mean, I understand. Yeah. Like, symbolically. I'm not, that's not what I'm saying.

1:30.2

Does it tend to be. It's a pretty big deal, Jason. It's a little bit of a big deal. Yeah, but what I'm saying is,

1:37.0

the foundation for our beliefs. Obviously, Christmas kind of takes the cake in the celebratory area of culture in America.

1:48.3

And so what I'm asking is, though, like, from your Catholic upbringing, was Easter, like, the Super Bowl?

1:54.9

Well, yeah, because...

1:56.6

Again, not because of the symbolic and real reasons behind Easter, but just like the gathering of families.
