eternally thankful. Amen, President Washington. Of course, our current holiday, we give thanks for sure,

but a few newer traditions are in place now that certainly weren't in place then, like the

Cowboys and the Lions, always hosting football

games, and of course, light beer. Hey, it's our favorite holiday for a reason. You can even make

a buck or two if you're savvy on Thanksgiving Day. Did you know the NFL favorites are on a

roll on Thanksgiving Day? Nine and three against the spread and outright wins 12 in a row for favorites on Thanksgiving Day.

That's holiday dominance. The Cowboys, the Texans, and the Steelers are the favorites.

But there's also hoops, and my recommendation, as it has been for years, is to take the points

anytime Bill Self is an underdog. It's the Brady, Manning, Rogers, and now Patrick Mahomes rule. If Vegas ever says these people aren't going to win and they're giving you points, well, thank President Washington even more for the bountiful blessings of this great holiday.
