Okay, so we're going to talk about your favorite subject.

You've been waiting all year.

I know you're really looking forward to honoring this question. How do you deal

with extended family and in-laws during the holidays?

Pray. Just pray. Because you will not make it through if you do not pray.

So why is this such a tenuous tense issue as the holidays come and then you get the extended

family on both sides involved? Why is that such a potentially complicated situation? Because it can

get really personal, especially if there's things that each of you need to work on that derived from your family

and maybe you're annoyed by those things with each other.

And so you haven't often talked about those things.

And then going into the holidays, you're reminded of those annoyances.

And your family maybe emphasizes those things when you're around them.

And so it can just be a really stressful time.

So it's important to pray because your goal

and your conversation with your spouse

in talking about the extended family

is not to attack each other, but to serve each other.

We try that by the way, and just so you know, it doesn't work.

So we would encourage, don't do that.
