I want to speak to Matthew 25 and I want to speak.

Pastor Robert's been telling me about what's been happening here with you guys fasting and

praying and just all the wonderful miracles that have been happening as a result.

And I want to speak this morning about power, about the power that God wants to give us in our lives to be able to live the way that he wants us to live.

To see miracles on a regular basis and to be able to be the people that God wants us to be.

In Matthew 25, let me just kind of frame this for you for just a second.

Matthew 25 is talking about the end times when Jesus Christ will return. Now let me tell you a fact that may surprise you a little bit.

The number one theme of the entire Bible is the return of Jesus Christ. Over 2,400 verses and prophecies in the Old Testament and the New Testament speak of the

return of Jesus Christ.

Now Jesus was asked in Matthew chapter 24 point blank by the disciples, when are you coming back?

What will be the signs that will tell us that you're coming back?

Not only did Jesus tell the signs of the end times, he also told us this. He said

one generation will see every end times prophecy fulfilled. This generation, he says, will not pass away. He wasn't talking about the generation

he was speaking to, they all passed away. He said, this generation that sees the signs of

the end happen happen one generation will see all prophecies, end-time

prophecies fulfilled. Now it's my opinion that since 1948 when Israel was restored to their national boundaries,

that we are seeing and we'll see every single end-time prophecy fulfilled in our lifetime.

I personally believe that we are the generation that will see the

return of Jesus Christ. There are many, many signs in the world today that tell us that

is happening, but if you just look over in Israel alone what's happening there,

it's Zakaria, chapter 11 through 14, it's Luke 21, it's Matthew 24. So many scriptures in the Bible foretold exactly what is happening there today
