The today's show starts with the technical error.

That should work. All right. Here we go. The big news today is that the house has passed the bill that would see

Tik-Tok banned in the US or they would have to divest from foreign adversary ownership.

It's resulted in a lot of contentious debate with many individuals on social media saying,

it's a trick so they can ban Rumble or X and give the present the authority to censor Americans and I read the bill and I have no idea what any of these people are talking about.

Out of context clips being posted on social media, snippets of the bill without any

further reading, people completely ignoring the text of the of the attached

USC, and I'm like, I kind of don't think anybody actually read this. I also think it's kind of strange that you had this big push in favor of banning Tik-Toc because their algorithm is driving young people insane provably, but now all of a sudden people are like no

actually I oppose this and either they're just completely wrong or they're
